Yes! We offer delivery services to all Disney and Universal resorts in the Orlando area. Orders will be left with the front desk staff under the name provided on the order.
For local pick-up, please reach out to us to coordinate priorto placing your order.
While we aim to have orders shipped within 24-48 hours, some orders take more time than others. We do make all of our products at the time of order, and sometimes this causes a delay. For items like wax melts, they will get stronger the longer they sit (cure). So sometimes this works to your advantage!
We moved to a new location in July of 2025, which is so new that it is not in the USPS/UPS system. Because of this, we have had consistent shipping issues. We are doing our best to work with our new local USPS office to get things resolved so that we don't have any further shipping delays.
Disney & Universal reuse scents from place to place, so the scent you're looking for may have a different name. For example, if you're looking for the scent from the Boardwalk Resort, it will be the same scent as Yacht or Beach Club Resorts. That said, we notice subtle nuances in each of these resorts (mahogany in Boardwalk, the scent from the bath store in The Grand Floridian, etc). So if you're looking for a scent that is not listed for sale, it's best to send us a message so we can replicate the minute details of that location.
We can replicate any scent, theme-park or otherwise. If you don't see a specific scent, just send us a message.
Candles aren't complicated, but there are some things you can do to make them last longer. Here are some of our best use tips:
1. ALWAYS trim the wick before lighting or re-lighting. Wicks should be 1/4 inch.
2. When lighting a candle for the first time, allow it to burn for at least 1 hour, or until the melt pool has reached the edges of the container. Blowing out a candle too early will create a tunnel and the wax may never melt entirely.
3. NEVER burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning a candle for more than 4 hours can result in:
*Broken glass
*Severe sooting (black jars and black marks in your home)
*Mushrooming (the wick builds carbon, which can release dangerous sparks or cause an extremely large flame)
*Burn marks on the surface the candle has been placed on
4. Store your candles in a cool, dark area with the lid on tightly. This keeps the fragrance snuggly in the wax.
5. Keep the flame away from windows, fans, and other sources of moving air. This causes an unstable flame which can result in a burnt/sooted jar and an uneven burn.
6. Finally, replace your scented candles often. Soy candles are meant to hold fragrance for 6 to 12 months. After this time they can begin to lose their fragrance.
Yes! We work with various retailers around Florida and are always happy to expand into new, exciting locations.
We also offer custom orders. Whether you're looking for a scent you don't see on our website, or a personalized gift, we love making custom items!
Our diffuser oils are highly concentrated and can be used with water or nebulizing/ionizing diffusers. Because our oils are used in different applications, we recommend contacting us first to let us know what type of system you are using. Some scents need to be changed in order to ionize properly, while some used in water diffusers will need to be "thinned out" in order to work well in your machine.
No. It is extremely dangerous to burn a candle for longer than 4 hours. Extended burning can cause the jar to break, nearby surfaces to burn, and even dangerous sparks to shoot from the candle. Just like any natural fire, carbon builds on the wick surface of a candle. If burned for too long, this excess carbon results in an extra large flame, excess sooting, and possible fireball-like sparks.
YES. Trimming your wicks before lighting or re-lighting your candles is essential. Keeping a wick short ensures less soot, a larger melt pool, and a longer lasting candle.
All of our products are handmade in Florida. Every ingredient, part, and parcel is grown or manufactured in the USA. The items we cannot grow ourselves are purchased from local, organic farms.
All of our bath products are made with natural, organic ingtredients, and have been used on children as young as 4 months old. If you or your child has a skin condition, consult a physician before trying any new product.
Great question! Believe it or not, we were exclusively a bath company before adding candles to the mix.
In 2012 we made soap and bath salts only. After some time, our customers began asking for natural candles so that they could ditch the big box brands. We began testing candles in 2017 and by 2018 had a consistent line of scents to choose from.
Please make sure to talk to your doctor first.
Our soaps were created with the sole purpose of helping those with skin issues find products that are fun but won't irritate or bother their skin. As someone who suffers with a skin disorder, the owner of Traveler's Apothecary sets a high standard for what can and can't go into a product.
Because we take pride in products that are safe for all skin types and ages, some oils and fragrances are better suited for diffusion into the air instead of on your skin. While harmless in a candle or wax melt, certain natural oils can cause irritation, especially to those suffering with skin conditions.
